my story

For as long as she can remember, music has been the language through which Dinah Lillian processes the world. While she has spent years serving as a worship leader, she recently felt a calling to extend her ministry beyond the church walls. At just 20 years old, Dinah brings a level of maturity to her craft that is rarely seen, blending her lifelong passion for songwriting with a heart dedicated to sharing the Gospel in a modern, relatable way.

This depth of character was forged largely through a season of intense personal trial following the passing of her identical twin sister, Gina. While such a loss could have easily led to a crisis of identity, Dinah found that it instead anchored her more firmly in her relationship with God. This journey through grief has refined her perspective, pushing her to explore the Lord’s true purpose for her life and transforming her music into a platform for both honest lament and unshakable hope.

Dinah and her family started the Live Like Gina Foundation (@LiveLikeGina / LiveLikeGina.org) in memory of their late family member. They strive to honor the beautiful and faithful life that Gina Lillian Schaffer lived. By doing this, they hope to encourage others to live like her: be kind, helpful, and loving. Make this world a better place by making yourself a better person and prepare yourself for eternity in Heaven. Through outreach and fellowship, the LLG Foundation hopes to financially support individuals and organizations that embody the Gina way of life.

It seemed fitting to go by Dinah Lillian in her professional endeavors. Carrying her late twin sisters middle name, Lillian, in all that she does. It is a heartfelt way to keep Gina present in her work, ensuring they continue to "sing" together in spirit.

Currently, Dinah has 4 original singles available on all streaming platforms. Including the deeply personal track “GLS,” written as a tribute to her late twin sister. As she continues to write and perform, Dinah’s mission remains steadfast: to create music rooted in truth that honors the Lord and offers a light to those navigating their own shadows.
